Chemlab gwar tour dates3/18/2023 ![]() Actually they barely make sense at all.īy the end of 1986 the MBR serials were being phased out and only a handful of relases after this carried an MBR-number. The Enigma#s do not follow the numerical order of the MBR#s, nor the dates of release. These Enigma-serials were not exclusive to Metal Blade, but used on all labels distributed by Enigma, hence there are plenty of "missing" numbers. In the beginning MB used their own serials for the records (MBR 1001, MBR 1002, MBR 1003 etc).Įarly on they got picked up by Enigma Records, who distributed their releases and also added their own serials to each album. They were the definition of Classic US Metal in the first half of the 80's and their output was damn near flawless during their early years. "Black - red labels" + Enigma (4) as second label. "White labels with chain, with old axe and blood drops and underlined logo" "White labels with chain, different axe and blood drops" + Combat as second label.Įxception: "White labels without chain, different axe and blood drops" + Combat as second label. "White labels with chain, different axe and blood drops" "Silver labels and axe with blood stains" were used only in 1984, pressings with this labels and 1982-1983 dates are actually 1984.Įxception: "Non 1984" some releases were sold in 1987, probably an old stock distributed in new sleeves. A third show in San Francisco on March 17, 2006, saw the band joined by fellow classic coldwave bands Babyland and Deathline International. Due to the substantial success of the show, the band played another one-off show, this time in New York City on January 7, 2006. After a massive seven-year hiatus from the stage, Jared recreated Chemlab and, with a backing band composed of the members of electro-industrial group mindFIELD performed a tight, well-received, one-off show in Boston, Massachusetts in August 2005. The band built up a strong fanbase by endlessly touring with artists such as White Zombie, KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, GWAR, and countless others.Īfter releasing the seminal albums Burn Out At The Hydrogen Bar and East Side Militia on Fifth Column Records, Chemlab broke up in 1997 and then reformed in 2004 to release an album entitled Oxidizer with Jared as the only original member. Dubbing their hard, drug-influenced Machine Rock sounds "Angel-Dustrial," they released their first EP 10 Ton Pressure, parted ways with Frank and moved to New York City, their base for the duration of their career.
